This session highlights the development of innovative physical education programs within a traditional school setting. Learn how community partnerships, creative use of facilities, and administrative collaboration can support program growth and expand student opportunities when you district has unique limitations.

Featured is a Sport Performance Course based on the Sport Education Model, including preparation for PIAA Junior Official certification through collaboration with the PIAA and use of NFHS resources. The course can be paired with Strength Training or Adventure Sports, creating meaningful pathways that promote leadership, career exploration, and lifelong involvement in physical activity. Participants will leave with practical strategies for implementing and sustaining new PE offerings in their own schools as well as administrative insight.
