About me
Dr. Razzano is a distinguished health educator, scholar, and longtime leader in advancing school health education across Pennsylvania. A professor at East Stroudsburg University since 2003 and Department Chair since 2013, she has dedicated her career to preparing future health educators and public health professionals.Her expertise includes school health pedagogy, standards-based health education, assessment development, human sexuality, and wellness promotion. She has played an influential role in connecting Pennsylvania’s academic standards with effective classroom practice.
A longtime leader within SHAPE PA, Dr. Razzano served as PSAHPERD President in 2012. Her contributions to the profession have been recognized with the Ethel Encke Service Award, the Eastern District Linda Woods Huber Service Award, and the 2018 Elmer B. Cottrell Award, SHAPE PA’s highest honor.
Dr. Razzano holds a B.S. in School Health Education from Springfield College, an M.P.H. from East Stroudsburg University, and a Ph.D. in Human Development and Health Promotion from Marywood University.
