About me
Mark Toorock is Founder and CEO of American Parkour and a SHAPE Maryland board member. A pioneer in parkour education, he opened the world’s first parkour gym and has spent his career helping schools, coaches, and teachers use movement to build confidence, coordination, and physical literacy. His background includes youth coaching, teaching martial arts, owning a CrossFit gym, and he is an avid trail runner and rock climber.
